Remember, English in particular is a big subject, so requires a number\nof sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With private\ntuition, I offer a half price taster session, during which I can ascertain how\nmuch extra help a student may need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With LAMDA,\nstudents will not be forced into exams; they need to feel ready to enter. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is your cancellation policy?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anything less\nthan 24 hours will incur the full session fee, unless there is a genuine\nemergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">24-48 hours\nwill incur half the session fee, unless there is a genuine emergency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For private\ntuition, over 48 hours will not incur a fee, but be aware it may be difficult\nto rearrange your session for similar times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How do you measure success?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personally, I\nam the most thrilled if I can equip a student (child, young person, or adult)\nwith the confidence to approach their exam, audition, or speech. If the student\nis inspired to work hard, where they haven\u2019t before, then I am more than happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, LAMDA\nand some private tuition culminate in examinations, and what I want to see is\nthe student make progress, achieve the best they can, and be their best selves\non the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I can\u2019t sit\nthe exam for them, no matter how much I wish I could, so it is my job, and\nvocation, to ensure they have the skills and mindset to go into the room and\nachieve, and for it not to be a horrible experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That said, I\nhave always had students achieve higher in exams than when they initially came\nto me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Are you DBS checked?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, I am\nfully DBS checked for working with Young People, and am a member of the Update\nService, so you can check my status at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DBS number\navailable on request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For adults, I\nhave a basic check.
